Steph Davis: Rock Climber / Squirrel Suit Pilot

If the name Steph Davis is new to your ears than you have a little catching up to do.  A simple youtube or google search will show some of the most extreme moments in women’s sports as well a few images that are more than soft on the eyes.  Davis has been profiled in many publications including Outside, Men’s Journal, W Magazine and Sports Illustrated; showcasing her creative/gutsy  approach to her sport. Once fully committed to the  dirtbag climber lifestyle, Steph spent seven years living in the back of her vehicle while climbing and bouldering.

GEAR REVIEW: TENT: NEMO LOSI 2P

Made it out to the COOSA BACKCOUNTRY TRAIL a few weeks back. The trial is a 12.5-mile loop and is rated strenuous with yellow blazes and signs that are for the most part easy to follow. It fords streams on its lower part and traverses the high Duncan Ridge, including Coosa Bald at over 4,000 feet. It is recommended that hikers take more than one day to hike the entire route so we took it all in with two nights spent in the back country. It was a great Trip and a good chance to try out some new gear.
