GoPro: 3D
The 3D HERO system makes it easy to convert your HD HERO’s into old-school 3D that you can watch on your computer, online at sites like YouTube, and on your 2D or 3DTV at home!
If you have two GoPros laying around this might be what you have been waiting for.. Scratch that.. Two GoPros, old school 3D glasses, and a lot of time on your hands to edit the footage. Not to mention about 100 GB of free memory for the converted files form your go pro. We have been going through 1TB jump drives like crazy trying to backup our regular 720p GoPro footage (converted to Apple ProRes of corse), so we cant imagine having to backup double footage.
So, if you have the memory and time, this might be just what your looking for.
The 3D HERO System allows you to combine two 1080p HD HERO cameras into a single housing to record 3D video and photos while simultaneously recording in 2D. A synchronization cable plugs into the rear HERO Port on both cameras to join them together, enabling both cameras to record video and photos in perfect synchronization. This is a requirement for professional quality 3D and is available only from GoPro.
Your going to want to go dig up a pair of those old school colored glasses now…

Going to have to dig up some old 3D shades and try this out.
Drug out a old pare from the office the other day! I highly recommend it!
